GOOOOOOAAAL!

So after our wonderful church service we were all invited to the church's weekly potluck dinner and watch England play Italy in the soccer....er...."football" world championship quarter finals. The dinner was very spicy curry and was all homemade. For those of you who are unfamiliar with curry it is basically roasted meat or vegetables that are soaked in a spicy sauce. Very good stuff! The football game was good too (they projected it onto a bedsheet on the wall!). The British people are as into football as we in the states are into the NFL. The game was very slow paced and we wound up leaving by halftime mainly because we were extremely tired. The whole evening was both exciting and different.
